MIAMI, FL (June xx, 2007)….The Teges Corporation received certification from Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) Information and Health Services for its successful completion of Vendor Integration Certification (VIC). Teges Corporation has the unique distinction of being one of only two software vendors in the country to have achieved certification of both lab results and microbiology.
“Achieving HCA certification is a huge milestone for Teges, demonstrating that our HL 7 interface engine can interoperate with large sophisticated enterprise applications such as Meditech” said Jeffrey White, Teges Corporation Chief Technology Officer.
To obtain HCA VIC certification, Teges, with its i-Rounds® Internet solution, participated in a series of rigorous tests at HCA’s testing facility in Nashville, Tennessee. The three-day trial tested the compatibility of i-Rounds® interface engine with HCA’s Meditech information system regarding admissions, discharge and transfer (ADT), lab and microbiology results.
